Melanie Barham, professionally known as Zeragii, is a time-tested, experienced freelance artist and illustrator. She started her career creating works for friends and family, but quickly gained a clientele among those in the field, doing commissions for a number of notable individuals including Lance McColgan, Mark Knox, Robert Subuda, Nick Criscuolo, and The Lego Group.

Zeragii has experience in Mural Painting, Character Design, Concept Art, Children's Book Illustrating, Storyboarding, Animatics, Digital Portraiture and Caricatures, Pet Portraiture, Charcoal Landscape Art, Book Cover Design, Board Game Art, and Logo Design--though her heart especially lies with illustration and design.Â
Zeragii was born in Manchester, Connecticut, but grew up in the rolling hills of the Berkshires in Massachusetts. She attended Berkshire Community College, before going on to get her BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass) in 2019. During Covid, Zeragii worked from home, struggling as many did, to make ends meet. However, it was during this time that Zeragii met the love of her life, Adam, a kind-hearted man from Texas. Despite Covid restrictions and being 1700 miles apart, they dated ceaselessly for a little over four years, braving quarantines and long flights/road trips to visit each other's families repeatedly, before finally tying the knot in August, 2024. Zeragii packed her bags and moved away from everything she'd ever known to live with her new husband in Texas, and there she stays, happy, and continuing to grow and learn.
